Uni work and work dilemmas
I've still got lots of uni work to do, hence my recent neglect of my poor blog. The Loud American is still being a pain in the ass... the other night I was so stressed while writing essays I walked to the supermarket at 11pm to see if they had ear plugs... they didn't, so I bought cotton wool which was very ineffective.I'm in a bit of a dilemma. It's holidays. So of course my folks expect me to come home, and I want to come home for a while because I haven't been back since Jan. But I can't get time off work here. So I am going to have to quit my job which is going to be really messy because I have to give two weeks notice and they are going to have the shits up big time because they are currently short staffed. Plus my Sydney friends are talking about all this cool stuff they want to do in the hols and I will be missing out :( But still, I wanna go home for a while. Just annoyed that I couldn't get time off work at all. Even if they had given me a couple of weeks off instead of the whole hols it would have been fine but they said they couldn't give me any time off. Grrr. Stupid work. Dreading handing in my resignation, I hate pissing people off.Other than that, we went out for drinks in Newtown on Thurs which was fun... then on Fri morning we went to this awesome place for breakfast in St Peters, on King St I can't remember the name. I had this awesome veggie breakfast.... it had a piece of thick crusty toast, with a slice of roast pumpkin, eggplant, a hash brown, a fried egg, with this thick italian roma tomato sauce with a roasted roma tomato and mushrooms. Yum it was so divine! And so cheap for a gourmet breakfast! They had this amazing breakfast menu and nearly everything was under ten bucks!!! Twas great!!!!! So that was my relaxation after handing in all the assignments I had due on Tuesday, now I just have to get organized to start doing the next lot.... grrr :(Anyway, I should really be doing them shouldn't I?
