A Day at the Beeb...

Had the open day at the BBC today. It was alright, except the room we were in was incredibly hot and stuffy. We didn't get to see the studios really which was annoying. The speakers were interesting, especially talking about the future of radio, however a lot of stuff is things one has heard before. You need to be determined blah blah... your degree is pretty useless blah blah blah... here's how I broke in to the industry blah blah blah took three years working for free and not having enough money to eat blah blah blah. You know the drill. But still it was alright and some of the stuff was quite interesting.

Today is Smoke Aid for our student station Smoke Radio, a special day of broadcasting to support anti smoking day. There are so many people around the studios, it has a good buzz.

I'm tired, not sure if I am going out tonight or whats happening. Been sleep deprived for quite some time now, my body clock is rather screwed up.
