Feeling a bit icky
I'm feeling a bit icky today... I think my long weekend (actually week) of partying and being busy doing stuff is catching up on me.
Hmm I've posted a lot of pics in here lately and not many words. But that's probably because I had all the photos from Bath, scroll down and check them out if you haven't seen them, they are really pretty.
Semester is nearly over, and I can't believe how quickly it's gone. When I was out with Tim and the gang on Saturday I was saying how I will probably have an element of reverse homesickness now, where I will miss all of my London buddies a lot. I've met some really cool people here, it's really been an excellent experience.
I'm just trying to plan the next leg of my journey now. Countries definately on the list are Lithuania, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, Netherlands and Germany. I'm going to Paris when my mum and sister are here but I don't think I will have time to come back and see more of France unfortunately. I also want to get to Ireland at some stage too. It's quite complicated to plan, especially since Roz and I are trying to plan our journey via MSN, but its sooooooooo exciting!
I really need to start on some of my final assignments this week because otherwise I will be here in London writing essays when I could be seeing more of the mother land.
I'm getting my very own Australian special on Smoke Radio on the 8th of May, where I will be playing Aussie tracks and having a "best fake Australian accent" competition. It will be a kind of farewell London show for me. There is a surprise for the competitors though... I am going to pick a seminal piece of Australian literature that they have to read in their fake accents, I think most of those keen to take part are under the impression that they will get to choose what they say in an Aussie accent. Should I pick something from a great Australian poet like Banjo Patterson or Dorothea MacKeller? Hmm, I've found something much better... Hewitt nee Cartwright ring any bells for anyone when it comes to poetry? Haha... radio gold!
I also need to make plans for my 21st birthday/farewell bash... not sure what to do. Hopefully people will still be around in London. I can't decide whether it's a good or bad thing that I won't have my friends from home here to make funny speeches... lord knows what everyone would say about me haha.
Anyway, I'm going to go and take a nap.

Ash, that poem is a classic!!! Tugged at my heart strings i tell you. Wish i could here the results of the competition, going to be sensational.
Oh and Aussie music, that’s always fun. Darryl Summers doing Kylie Minogue was classic...heck the whole Dancing Darryl album was gold. Johnny Farhnam, Bardot, Lee Harding, Nolllllllllsyyyyyyyyy (Lettttts Driveeeeeeee!!) The possibilities are endless.
I really really wish i could be there for your 21st. But I’ll be there soon after so I’ll tell you all your embarrassing moments then, and no doubt help you create some more! hehe.
Yeah planning's never been my strong point, but it'll all work itself out. So excited.
