The grind
Back at uni, listening to silly little girls spout off silly little ideas.
Back at work, writing crappy commercial copy that gives me no sense of satisfaction whatsoever.
And now my back is stuffed again, I'm in total agony and today I have both work... and uni. A 12 hour day, how lovely. Need to book chiropractic appointment ASAP. It never rains it pours.
Plus we have no electricity downstairs at the house at the moment, but that should hopefully be fixed today.
And I have two assignments due next week. And heaps of other things to do... and yeah. I am still not particularly overjoyed to be back. And this morning those little brats in the Qantas choir will be grinning at me from the Westminster bridge when I get off the train reminding me that I still call Australia home. Grr. I never realized how depressing coming back would be.

I have the answer! - Get job in London kid! (Or Bath! – Perhaps the Jane Austin museum needs someone?) - The streets are pathed with golden opportunities for someone with as good a 'news voice' as you. Plus, we Brits love the accent ;-)
At least I'm not the only who instantly becomes depressed after leaving London and returning to home turf. I'd be more than happy to pay for a flight back to the city! (Well, when my overdraft has cleared)
hey betts,
Aw im sorry things arn't so bright for you at the moment, but i have no doubt they'll be looking up in no time. If worst comes to worse, head down and live it up in my lovely new home with me. We can watch Trashy tv, eat trashy food and get trashy...im sure it wont come to that though.
Haha i like the jane austin museum idea. You've done plenty of promo work for them already, surely they can only reward you now. Perhaps you can spruice the place up a tad...actually put something of 'jane austin' substance in it...or would that destroy the 'charm' of the place. The purple jumper must go though!!!!
Hang in there matey, not long to go now, i'll check in with you soon and i hope things brighten up for you quick smart. Feel free send thoes 'silly girls' south bound and we will smarten them up. Quick trip to the Garison, Lake Hume or lavy Hungry Jacks perhaps?
Keep Smiling.
Mac.
Ps I have a funny story to tell you
