Got the flu

Ugh I'm miserable, I have the flu.... plus I have to go to work this arvo. ugh.Yesterday was my last class for media info and the law and we went to the pub afterwards which was good, but I don't think the smoke at the seedy pub we were at was good for my cold... I really liked that subject, it was really interesting. Plus I had a really good tutor, and heaps of my friends were in my class so it was a great subject.Most of my friends have finished all their major assessments grrr and I still have a huge essay left to do plus a "take home" (haha) exam.... nevertheless I am probably going out on the weekend with them LOL.Oh I resigned my job and they are really pissed off, so the next two weeks at work are just going to be a bundle of laughs :(Tomorrow is my last day of class for the semester.... as soon as I have finished that essay next week, I am officially half way through my degree! Eeek! Time flies when you only have uni 28 weeks of the year.... I am considering doing an honours year because I have got barely anything in my journalistic portfolio and that will buy me more time. Plus, I will only be 21 when I graduate, so I need something to put me ahead of the pack, I think most papers would be reluctant to hire a 21 year old or give me a cadetship or whatever, maybe honors will help plus I will have more time to do more work experience etc.I haven't written anything insightful in here in ages... I really should write about what a shambles I thought the media coverage of Schapelle was, but I can't be bothered today.Oh, Dr Phil is on soon lol.... grrr don't wanna go to work this arvo.
