Brighton and Boredom

I went to Brighton today which was cool, it was nice to see the seaside, haven't been near a beach in a loooooong time... even though it was a rocky and cold beach. All the lanes with alternative shops and stuff were really cool, and it was good cos there weren't tourists everywhere like there would be in the summer or weekends. I kept on thinking of "but I'm a layyyydeee" from Little Britain though... and also of Lydia from Pride and Prejudice throwing a tantrum "but I WANT TO GO TO BRIGHTON! IT'S NOT FAIR".

Except it was my return to solo travel... I haven't had to really do anything by myself since coming to London, the whole university environment has given me ready made friends pretty much. I usually go sightseeing with other people here. There are goods and bads to each though, so it's nice to mix it up a bit.

Other than that, it's been really boring here. Everyone has gone home for holidays. It's totally dull. The place is freakishly quiet. I think some of my flatmates are still here, but I think the noisier ones have gone home so it's very quiet.

I feel like coca cola but everything is closed. Oh well. Water shall suffice. So bored. Should be doing assignments, but I'm too bored to do that. And quite tired after sightseeing all day.
