Radios and randomness
This week is the Big Broadcasting Bonanza at Smoke Radio which is going well. I did an Australian special last night which went well I think considering I have never hosted a whole show on my own before, let alone a show that was primarily music based. A good experience though, and one to broaden that portfolio. I also did some newsreading tonight and will be doing more tomorrow which is fun, and also another plus for the portfolio.
My last week on Harrow campus... it's quite sad! I've really had a brilliant time here, and yeah, I'm leaving on Monday. Sad. Travel will be great, and the summer here would have been boring, but I would have loved to be coming back after travelling :) It will be nice to see the gang in Sydney but yeah, quite sad about the whole leaving thing. I hate goodbyes. I had to say goodbye to my friend Tim yesterday, and it was the kind of "Omigosh my time here is over, you're in a hurry, hug, talk on MSN, cya" thing that is almost good in a way because it's not one of those long drawn out goodbyes that leave everyone feeling depressed. At least with brief goodbyes, it doesn't hit you that you might not see that person again until it is too late to boo hoo about it... well, you can boo hoo on your own later. But yeah I hate goodbyes and this weekend will be full of them.
And then when I get back it will be all panic panic stress stress what am I going to do for the rest of my life because I am going in to my last semester.
OK moving on. Random photo time. Emma posted on my Flickr account that she quite likes this photo, and I do too;
Emma asked where the picture was taken and it was actually at Disneyland Paris, at the Disney Village which is a bit that is open until late at night with restaurants and shops (all well overpriced of course). These round light things were all over the facades of the shops there and I thought they were quite cool. If you look carefully you can see a Mickey balloon in the bottom centre.
