Employed!
I have scored myself a full time print journalism position starting part time in a couple of weeks then full time at the end of semester at a community newspaper group. Tis rather exciting, cos I now have some certainty over what will happen after graduation. I also think the small team environment at this newspaper will be positive and I will get a lot of opportunities to experience different things. So quite exciting, and also a weight off the shoulders.
I still have to finish this semester though and this week has been really hectic with freelancing work and uni plus assignments. Ugh. Can't wait for the mid semester break... I'm desperate for it!
I've also been busy as I am contributing to community radio's national current affairs show at 2SER 107.3 called The Wire. I did a story the other day about the ABC's denial to release details about their complaints procedure requested under freedom of information. You can listen to the story here, scroll down to "FOI under fire". I like doing this kind of stuff, but I am so busy at the moment, it's crazy. I've barely even had time to blog.
So yeah, things are going quite well here at the moment... well but hectic!

Congratulations on getting the new job! OK so it doesn't involve any audio mediums, but it must be a great feeling knowing that you'll have something to climb onto following graduation.
Love the Albury photos!
