ARGH! I just went to get my hair "trimmed" because the ends were dry... and the hairdresser hacked away about 6 inches! ARGH! It is too short, and the style is terrible for curly hair. Stupid dumb hairdresser. I wanted it cut in a straight line, and only a couple of cms taken off... she couldn't seem to comprehend that my hair is curly and now she has layered it and it is all boofy and muchroom like boo hoo it is terrible I am so unhappy!
Last time I went to a dodgy hairdresser in Chinatown where they barely spoke English they did a fine job... this time it was a horror story. Boo hoooooo and res ball is on Friday and now I have no idea what I am going to do with this style!
In other news, yeah, I've just been busy as usual, working and stuff. Last week we went and saw Measure for Measure by Bell Shakespeare for free through friends of friends and their connections etc so that was awesome. It was an excellent production, so entertaining! And it was at the Opera House, with all the ambiance of a Sydney night in Spring. Ah, so nice. Sitting down at Circular Quay eating a slice from a bakery at the Rocks with friends and then enjoying a fine night of Shakespeare... for free... twas a great evening. On Saturday I am going to see the Gotham Suite by the Stephen Petronio Dance Company and I am psyched about that as well, we got the tix to that at a discount rate, so I am doing well on the cultural front this fortnight. Shame about the hair *breaks down in to uncontrollable sobbing*
Um but yeah my blog is looking super fugly at the moment because modblog decided to crash and burn so my layout has gone and so has the picture gallery. I was thinking about buying my own domain and setting up an account with a web host and doing it all but I don't have time to do that at the moment I don't think. This blog will become particularly important if I get overseas next year, that's why I don't like it when it has downtime, or when the photos go, or when my lovely layout gets replaced by this craptastic one.
But yeah, other than that I've just been doing uni assignments and working and spending money that I should be saving... on fugly haircuts booo hooo so crushed. Have to go back to uni tonight, can't wait for the insincere "nice haircut" comments. ARGH!!!!!! WHAT PART OF TRIM DID SHE NOT UNDERSTAND!
Not that I have issues about it or anything....
Oh speaking of "issues", I am currently reading The Latham Diaries. I couldn't resist buying a copy any longer, especially when they got the book at Kmart for a reasonably cheap price compared to Dymocks. I haven't read a heap yet, but it is pretty interesting indeed. I shall keep you posted on my views about it all.
