Procrastinating!
Hmm.
The media have certain distinct economic characteristics. What are they, and what effects do they have on how the media are structured?
Anyone wanna write an essay for me? It's not that difficult an essay really but I am once again procrastinating. After having class all day yesterday, rocking down to Sainsy's to grab some tucker then going over to Dave's... procrastinating and watching a crappy crappy movie... I managed to not start yesterday. Then cos I have been sick and I got kept up my my own coughing last night I slept in... then when I woke up friends were on MSN, then my mother was on Skype, then I had lunch, then it was 3pm in the afternoon. So that's how I managed to waste almost an entire day. Yay.
Speaking of the crap movie we watched, it was called Alexander. I am not a huge fan of those hero saga movies. For one, there is too much blood and gross stuff. Secondly, they jump all over time and space and I can never tell where and when we are. This film was particularly bad for it. The flashbacks didn't enhance the narrative in any way... they jumped back to tell us stuff that we already knew had happened. Wow. I spent the whole film wanting Alexander to die, and due to my lack of knowledge of ancient Greece I got excited several times thinking that the movie might be nearly finished cos Alex was about to meet his end. But he had more get up and go than a bloody energizer bunny, and he would not die, and the movie went on and on and on and on.
Hmm. In other news, my mother has found this blog. That's probably not great, but I'm not going to let that change what I post. My loyalty is to you, my loyal readers... if there actually are any out there...
OK I really should get back to my political economy essay now. Actually, it's nearly dinner time... hmm...
