Powerless!

Today they cut off power in the halls of residence for 6 hours! And water! And the only notice they gave us was a little sign put up last night! Totally crazy.

Luckily the neverending joy that is the free museums of London was only a short tube ride away. Today I went to the Victoria and Albert museum... I loved it. Especially the displays on fashion and photography. I really love good photography, I think I would like to take a short course or something when I get back. And get a better camera for it. Also some of the displays on interior design and stuff dating back to the 1600's was cool also. Then I bought a sarnie from good ol Tescos and enjoyed my lunch in Kensington Gardens. I then went for a bit of a stroll through Kensington to Knightsbridge... then caught the tube home to see if power had been restored, of which this blog is evidence that it had been. And the water too, which is always a bonus.

The halls is getting emptier by the day, there are normally 800 people out here, I reckon there are only about 50 people left! It's soooooooooooo quiet and soooooooooooo dull.
