Retail crazyness
So last night I went out for dinner in Newtown with Josie and a few other people and it was really nice. Just having a few drinks, chatting, hanging out. A nice way to finish the hectic work/uni/two assignments due/weekend in Albury/community radio week.
We went to this fantastic Japanese restaurant where you could buy these dinner boxes that had like chicken teriyaki and sushi and salad and rice in them for less than 10 bucks. So cheap, so tasty, so good! I will definitely be going back there.
I have an assignment due on Monday that I haven't made much of a start on. I'm so unmotivated for uni lately, it's probably good there are only 7 weeks of class left yay! Only 1 more week until holidays. I can't wait.
Today I went kinda crazy in the retail spending way. I bought three Belle and Sebastian CDs as I developed quite a taste for them in the UK thanks to the lovable and musically knowledgable Kim. I also bought a DVD of the first season of Little Britain (will buy the second season shortly), and then they had heaps of DVDs on sale for really really cheap so I grabbed a couple of trashies to watch with the girls at home.
I also bought a super cute work shirt (which is probably the only purchase today that was actually justifiable). It sort of says "I am professional-ish, but also young, hip and approachable so don't be scared by me". I think that's a good type of statement for a shirt to make. Plus, it's one that you don't have to iron. Bonus! And it was 20 per cent off the price. Double bonus!
