It's my birthday and I'll whinge if I want to

It's my birthday! Because I had to stay up so late writing a terrible profile for my print features class, it is now officially my birthday. And it is getting off to a wonderful start, with my stupid American flatmate and his stupid loud American pothead friends making oodles of noise while me and my other two flatmates are trying to study. Yay! Happy Birthday to me!We asked them to be quiet and they were like "sorry" they were quieter for about 2 mins (but they were still kinda loud) then they resumed their usual volume. They weren't completely inconsiderate pricks though... they did offer me a birthday drag on the joint they were smoking, which I politely declined. Anyway, hopefully tomorrow is a bit better, and hopefully my media law lecture isn't as woefully boring as it was last week. I'm hoping to have a bit of a get together on Friday night here which should be fun. I joked to my other flatmate that I should have my parties at 8am in the morning when The Loud American is hugover. Revenge can be so sweet.Aside from that, I have just been snowed under with uni work and have my speech and drama theory exam in a week but absolutely no motivation to study for it. Plus I have uni work to do... not to mention that I have to go to work as well. I think I am a bit burnt out after the whole working 40 hours a week plus uni thing.Oh yeah, I quit my job at the electrical store (Harvey Norman). They didn't take it too kindly. But it was a shit boring job with crappy pay. I would much rather work somewhere else where I wasn't bored out of my mind and was paid more. If they want people to stay on perhaps they shouldn't pay them minimum minimum wage.I'm wanting to get more things written and published but I just haven't had the time to follow up on the story ideas I have had. Grr so many things to do, so little time!Anyway, I might have some sleep and maybe when I wake up tomorrow I can have a good birthday. I might just discount tonight as being part of my birthday.
