Northwick Park Drug Trials + another hangover

That major world news story about the failed drug trials in the UK is especially close to me because Northwick Park hospital is what I see when I look out my kitchen window. One of the students involved I think in the trials was from this university... a lot of the people who do the trials are students or backpackers, there are always ads about them on gumtree.com. One of my flatmates almost did this trial- he only didn't because it clashed with classes. He was so freaked out about it, it could have been him. He has done trials before at the hospital. It's quite freaky, and reading the descriptions of how they swelled up is really unsettling.

I truly don't know how people can put themselves up for stuff like that, I could never do it. It really is abusing your own body for money.

But I do that a fair bit lately when it comes to my liver... and that costs me money. Went out again last night to the "club" (haha yes, loose description of the word) on campus... was fairly drunk, had a fun time though dancing around with radio people and stuff. Except for a few issues with a ghost from the past... long story that shall not be blogged. But my gal pal and I conclusively decided that boys are stupid... while continuing to comment about the positive aesthetic features of any that passed by us lol. When I came home I couldn't quite remember how to operate our microwave though, which was a bit tragic.

My radio drama subject is a lot more work than I first anticipated... possibly should have stuck to a journalism subject, but it is quite fun and something different.
