Life can be so easily packed

Life can be so easily packed up... but some things always have to be left behind. Whether it's a pair of well worn shoes that just won't fit in my backpack... or people who I will miss loads... and who also don't fit in my backpack.

My room is now back to the hauntingly sterile state it was in when I arrived... well pretty much. I'm leaving the linen on the bed in the hope that the halls management will use it for some purpose, I can't bring myself to wastefully put it in the dumpster. I have my witch hat that I wore to the costume party last night and I also can't bear to bin it. It is quite cute, I'm trying to think of something quirky to do with it... maybe placing it somewhere unusual as some kind of temporary monument to my presence here at the Harrow halls.

I also still have my Doc Martins sitting on the floor. There isn't room for them in my pack. I've had them since year 10 and they are totally worn out, but still totally wearable. I can't bear to put them in the bin either, I might also leave them somewhere random. I also have a heavy winter coat that's purpose has been served. Unfortunately I don't have time to go and put this stuff in a charity bin which is really annoying.

I have too much stuff still, my pack is stuffed. Not sure what to do with it. I will probably get tired of carrying half of it and dispose of some of the non essentials along the way. Hopefully this time in charity bins rather than a wasteful way. I hope whoever moves in here next doesn't mind a faint whiff of vinigar... I used it to clean the entire bathroom. It's wonderful stuff, especially on glass and metal.

Going down to the bar in a bit for final farewells. I hate goodbyes.

But I wonder what Lithuania will be like... it was my curiosity that bought me to England, and I can't let myself just settle. I'll do that when I'm old. So on with the adventures.
