I made a start!

Clap your hands together everybody, I actually made a start on my uni work. Yay!

I did a couple of hours worth of reading today for my political theory essay! Yay!!

I've also decided what I am going to do my radio feature on... I think I will focus on the insecurities/fears/dreams/goals attached with the idea of graduation. Interview random peeps, mesh it together in a trippy ambient way, throw in some interviews with careers advisors and a councellor or psychologist, and bob's your uncle hopefully.

I still have heaps of work to do but at least I have made some kind of a start. Maybe I should go to the library more often, I seem to be more productive and less distracted there.

Aussie Idol tonight kids, though I'm not as inspired now to watch it without the Bobby meister in it. It's some weird ass theme tonight, Swing Rock or something... taking rock hits and making them in to big band songs? I wish they were just going to do normal big band, I like hearing the old skool big band tunes. Maybe they will have a musical theatre night to compensate me. Or a "Belle and Sebastian and The Smiths" night... highly doubt it though. A best of British night could suffice possibly, or maybe just a night called "please please please don't sing any American R'n'B crap we are so over it". Maybe a piano tunes night... yeah. It will be interesting when they have the public's choice night as to what songs will be chosen...

OK yes I am sad and obsessed... back to political theory. Ohhh Arendt's theories on totalitarian states, excitement... see why Idol excites me so easily at the moment!
