Sick+ Work+ Pink (wow, creative title)... oh and a test

Basically, I have been really ill but I am now feeling better, except I am really tired. Work has been good. Been out mixing and making connections with the locals and all that. It's fun cos I get to take photos as well as interview people so I feel like I will get a fair few different skills from this job.

I'm screwed in terms of uni... behind with a proposal, work non existant on radio feature, didn't go to class this week. Whatever... I'm at the P's get degrees stage to be honest.

I did a cadetship exam today at a major news organization. I'm not hugely interested cos I already have my job and there were hundreds doing the test, but it was more for personal interest. I didn't even know half the answers to the current affairs questions, being out of the country for a large part of the year didn't help much. But I now know what kinds of things to expect if I go for one of those tests in the future which will give me a head start.

This arvo I have to go out and take a photo for a story I am doing for work, as well as try and figure out a proposal for investigative journalism, and then tonight I am doing the Pink Star Walk that I posted about earlier. I will try and take some cool photos, I have a camera from work that I can play with.

And then tonight I will finally get a decent sleep hopefully. I was at a friends place last night catching up with people which was nice, but I was too tired to be overly social after going to a networking breakfast as well as a full day at work.
