How to build an Ikea bed

I finally have a bed! The construction effort was quite difficult though. The little blob Ikea man thing wasn't very helpful in demonstrating some of the stages of construction. It took me an hour to get one of the screw things to work. Apparently one tiny screw was magically supposed to join four pieces of metal together and it was the most infuriating thing! But it's done now. Construction girl conquered the flat pack bed challenge. Complete with orange sheets that don't really match anything I own, but hey.



My room is eccletic. Crazy bedspread, fairy lights, red office chair, nordic pale bed and desk, black and white photos of London, caberet posters from Paris, an ad for Spanish olive oil and a photo of two Parisian ladies at a cafe. The overall theme is... trippy.



It's also the kind of room that is hard to fit in a photograph properly.
